Spring 2025 CaSB Commencement Celebration

Planned for Sunday, June 15th, 2025

CaSB is planning for an in-person celebration on Sunday, June 15th, 2025, from 11 AM – 1 PM in the Covel Commons Grand Horizon Room. All eligible graduates should review the commencement information shared via BruinLearn on April 14th, 2025. If you are planning to participate in the Spring 2025 CaSB Commencement ceremony, please log into MyUCLA to put in an order for your ticket(student ticket) + your guest tickets(3 maximum). You will have the option to waitlist for an additional guest ticket, bringing your total number of guest tickets to 4. However, the waitlist ticket is not guaranteed and will only be granted if space is available.

Participating in CaSB’s Commencement Celebration

Computational & Systems Biology majors who are eligible to participate in the 2025 Commencement Celebration should review the commencement information shared on BruinLearn on April 14th, 2025. It includes information on how to sign up for the CaSB celebration. To sign up for the celebration, graduates will be asked to fill out a senior survey and confirm the information that will be read out along with their names during the event.

The CaSB 2025 Senior Survey can be found here.

Note, participation in Commencement activities is not the same as “graduating.” Students who participate in Commencement are not guaranteed to earn a degree. Please consult with your UCLA College Counselor and the CaSB Counselor to confirm completion of degree requirements.

Guests

Each graduate will be permitted to bring up to three(3) guests to the CaSB Ceremony. When students sign up to participate in CaSB Commencement, they must indicate the number of guests they will be bringing, with a maximum of up to three(3) guest tickets. Due to venue capacity limits, students will be able to waitlist for an additional ticket. However, the additional ticket is not guaranteed and will only be available if capacity allows.

There is no charge for graduates to attend CaSB Commencement. The three(3) guest tickets are free of charge. On the day of the ceremony, guests and graduates will be checked in at the door. Every guest must have a CaSB commencement ticket. Seating for guests will be first-come, first-served. Graduates will sit together in the front rows of the venue.

The College Commencement Ceremony
