Fall 2023 New Student Welcome
CaSB hosts New Student Welcome at the start of Fall Quarter as part of the True Bruin Welcome events. This event brings together new CaSB students, features a welcome address by the CaSB chair and presentation by a current student, and gives new students the opportunity to meet each other, staff, and faculty.

Info Sessions occur in the Fall and Spring quarters and are a chance for prospective and current UCLA students who are interested in CaSB to learn more about the program, understand admission requirements, and meet current students.

Major Blast
CaSB participates in Major Blast, which is put on by the Office of Residential Life, each Fall. Major Blast brings together representatives from different major and minor programs at UCLA, allowing students to explore different programs of interest in one place. Check back for more info about Major Blast in Fall 2023.
Freshmen/Transfer Bruin Days & Bruin Bound
Freshmen Bruin Day and Transfer Bruin Day are events for new admits held on campus during Spring quarter. These events give admitted students the opportunity to explore UCLA prior to making their final decision about which College/University they will attend in the Fall. CaSB participates in the Academic Fair at Freshmen Bruin Day and Transfer Bruin Day
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, in lieu of participating in Bruin Days in Spring 2022, CaSB will be participating in the virtual Bruin Bound programming initiative, including the virtual Academic Fairs on April 9th, 2022 (Freshmen) and May 14th, 2022 (Transfers).
